Youth Player Assessment & Manitoba Squad Selection

A two-day street soccer assessment event at The Campus at Zueike. Your player registers as an individual: no club, no team, no tryout. Birth years 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016 play Saturday, September 26. Birth years 2015, 2014, and 2013 play on Sunday, September 27. Boys and girls on both days. Both days run from 09:00 to 17:00. Blocks run back-to-back with no lunch break, and your exact group start time will be emailed to you once your registration is approved. Plan on about 90 minutes on site, not a full day. Inside their own birth year and gender group, your player plays three 3v3 games of 8 minutes on the AirPitch, with a Game Manager running each one. Two development coaches score five published criteria out of 10, which is six observations per player. Every player receives a written individual assessment by email, selected or not. Scores go to that player's own parent and are published nowhere. The top six players in every group are selected to represent Manitoba at a national 3v3 tournament in the greater Toronto area on December 4, 2026, and the next-ranked player is the first reserve. Six is six in every group, not a share of it, so your player's chance depends on how many families register in their own birth year and gender group: a full group of twelve means six of twelve, and a group of eight means six of eight. Participation does not guarantee selection. 3v3 Manitoba covers the tournament registration cost. Families are responsible for all travel costs. $60 a player and a tournament shirt through Monday, September 21, 2026. From Tuesday, September 22, it is $100 and no shirt, because the shirt order is placed on Wednesday, September 23. Payment is taken at registration, and a manual approval follows. If your player is not approved or the group cannot run, you will be refunded in full.
